Hee, gave a small bit of broccoli to my hamsters, fresh carrot slices and
yoghurt drops. Hammies dun seem keem on the yoghurt though. :faint: :sun:

Im afraid that too much sweet yoghurt will cause diabetes .
Hence i alternate with some dog biscuits for gnawing.

Drake crams and stashes plain cheerios like there's no tomorrow. He goes nuts whenever I offer them. It's funny, yet a little strange at the same time....

jnh, when you choose dog biscuits just make sure they're "unflavored" which means you might have to look at the list of ingredients on the package or whatever. like for xample i don't know what's in Kibbles but you don't want spices or garlic in there & i know that these are often ingredients in commercially packaged dog biscuits. you just want plain flavored biscuits.

Don't ever feed peanut butter to a hamster! It's the same like chocolate and other "sweets". It's too sticky, and will get stuck in the hamster's pouch, causing it to infect.
