Doesn't have to do with a globe/all of the five species, but here's a black broken-banded Syrian logo idea (obviously I'm not a professional so it's not the best (I didn't add shading or anything), but I didn't have anything to do and I wanted to try drawing a hamster for the first time 
).

You don't have to have Facebook to join! It's just a commonly-used platform!

I'm not too sure how SBH will set up the website, but I would believe that there isn't.
Facebook was selected seeing as it was a commonly used platform, and she and I both use it regularly as well.
I would assume the site is purely for information regarding the organization, and methods of contacting anyone.
I'm sure if it were necessary, we would have a list of breeder contact information, that can be emailed as needed.
I would assume the site be similar to SBH's personal one, just one full of information, instead of like HH's layout.
I don't think there is a need to establish a login system of some sort, personally speaking on my view of things.
There isn't much need for a forum that is strictly the OHA community, or rather ECHA, depending on expansion.
The Facebook group may end up being our prime source of communication with each other, but alongside that,
I'll, along with SBH, post updates to members who may not have access to/ don't have Facebook and whatnot.

for sure! it's a work in progress, and likely will be for a while. Certainly a project that needs some time and TLC before it can take off.

I'm thinking of maybe a globe with the five species of hamsters piled on it. Then on the globe, a line connecting Ontario and the East Coast for ECHA?

I've renamed the group to be a bit more all encompassing - "East Coast Hamster Organization" ECHO for short. Hopefully this will encourage more people to join and be more inclusive! We are still not on our feet yet, but hopefully within a year
