Hey everyone. I've always wanted to go downtown and meet up with other hamster people, almost like a hamster convention. Why hasn't anyone started one yet? I think the hamster hideout forum should start a hamster convention! There was a guinea pig association called Pig Stock, but they're not hamsters. If you would like to sign my petition please just say so in the comments below that you want a hamster convention that goes around the U.S. to be created! Thanks for reading -SH

I know. It would take a lot of time and energy, but it would also be a great way to get people to donate for the convention, and for hamsters who don't have homes. I really hope someone could create a hamster convention.

You know, starting a petition wouldn't really help. I'm pretty sure HamsterHideout couldn't start anything like this..
I'm sure hamsterhideout could, but they may not. Maybe we could get some people to start one... which is very unlikely. All the famous hamster youtubers could show up to the convention!

You know that many hamster youtubers are most likely only in their early-late teens. :P I seriously doubt their parents/guardians would let them travel around the country. It's not that simple. XP It's a good idea, but it needs to be planned out for months to years.
Maybe you could get permission to have a small hamster convention in your town. The money raised could go to a shelter.

Yeah, I was thinking of the shelter part. I'm sure ChocolateColors26 and most likely HoppingHammy would go! Yeah, it would take several months of planning, but if we had really interested people it would work out great!

I'm pretty sure we will likely never do this
HamsterHideout is run by live people, with jobs and their own priorities (families, jobs, school). Plus, the Admin, Dusty, lives in the Eastern Hemisphere in Singapore, very unlikely :/
Most of use here are still kids or young adults too. Even if we are adults, adults need their own money. Plus, we'd have the rent a place, set up everything, and gather all the supplies which could take THOUSANDS of dollars, if I'm right.
If we could, I'd expect very little people to arrive :( Many of use are spread out and stuff, half of us are in the UK/Ireland/Canada too
(Sorry if I sounded so negative in this post, I just wanted to explain ![]()
And there actually already IS a hamster "convention" in California run by the California Hamster Association. Biscotti and few other members attend it.

Maybe we could start a hamster association or club in most states?

We probably can't either. HamsterHideout is a very small community believe it out not
The best thing would be to suggest the idea to your state governor or something of the sorts ![]()
