Now that I am actually active on this, that is so cute that the hamster didn't just think "oh well this is the time of my death". The owners must of been happy and scared too.

That looks a lot like my hamster Kiwi! And I know someone on instagram and her hamster came back to life! But I mean the hamster was in the cage for a couple of days and then the owner of the hamster saw that he was alive!

Zombie hamster!

Actually, there are times we could have buried Indiana like that. He'd sometimes look dead even though he wasn't cold enough to hibernate; we'd look in his nest to check on him, and he didn't even move if we touched him. I remember poking him a dozen times once before he woke up, I'd almost given up on him that time.
