Okay, sounds good (err, bad?), I'm just trying to differentiate between a poor quality product and an actually bad one, make sense? Otherwise the WoS would be miles long lol.
Sorry Milkbone, you've been relegated to the WoS.

I do not know if this has been reviewed yet but I could do a review on kaytee soft granule blend bedding. It is perfectly safe for hamsters and is a GREAT product.

That sounds great, but this thread is for products people can buy at the store. This thread would be a great place to post about your homemade hamster toy. ![]()

Wild Harvest's Ediblelogz

General info:
Wild Harvest's Ediblelogz are a lot like the popular Snak Shacks. They are made with alfalfa hay and golden honey, so they are entirely edible. They come in one shape, and can serve as a tunnel, a hideout, and a chew toy for your hamster.
Sizes:
Ediblelogzs come in two sizes: small and large. The small is the perfect size for dwarf and Chinese hamsters (and mice or gerbils). Syrian hamsters may need the larger size, as they could grow too large around the middle to fit into the small size, but it depends on the hamster..
Dimensions:
small - 5" L, 3" H, 3" W
large - 14" L, 10" H, 11" W
A comparison of the two sizes:

And here's my life-size stuffed dwarf hamster, Toby, demonstrating the small Ediblelogz:

Note: my stuffed toy is fatter than your average dwarf, and he is larger than a roborovski dwarf.
Price and Availability:
Ediblelogz tend to only be available at non-pet stores, like Walmart. I have not been able to find either the small or large Ediblelogz available online and so I assume it must be purchased in stores. The small size tends to sell for about $4 and the large size usually costs about $6. However, the price may vary from store to store.
Personal Review:
Personally, I definitely would recommend this product. I find its shape more pleasing than the Snak Shack log, and its definitely cheaper than the Snak Shack version. My hamster is not a chewer, but he still loves to run through the log, hop through the hole, and climb all over his ediblelogz toy. I've used this product as a ramp for my hamster to climb onto a platform. I've set it in the middle of his cage as just a tunnel, and I've filled it with bedding for him to use as a hut. I have also used it to train him. Now, when I tap it, he will climb up on top, knowing that he will get a treat from my hands. It's wonderful! This product is not only MY favorite of my hamster's toys, but his as well. I give the Ediblelogz toy four stars out of five, because my hamster likes it, but doesn't chew it as was intended.
Pros:
- pleasing shape
- looks good in a natural cage setup
- 3-in-1 chew, hut, and tunnel
- completely edible
- cheaper than Snak Shacks
Cons:
- only available at non-pet stores
- may not be chewed by picky chewers
- dust from bedding collects and doesn't come out easily
- Syrians may not may not fit through the small size

Actually I have found this at Stop & Shops So you might want to say "only available at non pet stores" or something like that
And my syrian is a good size and he can easily fit through the middle hol remember that hamsters can squeeze into REALLY tight spaces
