Hey everyone!

A big hello from Arnold and me! Arnold is my Syrian hammy. I was pointed here by Azaleas? I hope that's how you spell it! Sorry if it's wrong.

So how are you and Arnold? I'd like to know a bit about him... color, size, temperament. You know. Just to warm you up here! You should get used to talking about your ham....this IS a hamster forum!! :lovestruck:

Yes, Azayles. Thanks!

Arnold is a Syrian. I bought him from pets@home in February this year. He is a caramel brown colour with a gorgeous white belly. He has a wonderful temprament, one of the best I've owned. *touch wood* he has never bitten me yet or displayed any aggressive behaviour. He is my first ever hamster since being a child! I'm loving having a hamster as a pet and it's actually much more fun as an adult :D Not only am I more aware of what hamsters need BUT I have the money to be able to meet those needs! ( Well, within reason haha!)

A little bit abut me, I'm 26 and live in London with my boyfriend of five years, my two dogs (Staffies) Bessie and Rosie. Although I now live down South I'm originally from 'up north,' in Northumberland (Near Newcastle-upon-Tyne). Career/education wise I'm currently between jobs, working in retail and property at the moment and looking to go to Uni this year to study either psychology or teaching.

Now the bit you've no doubt all been waiting for!

Sorry the pictures are a bit <lousy> they were taken on my iPad.

I know this is a hammy forum but here is a pic of my two dogs too:
