Hello everyone! So I'm actually in Korea right now and I obtained a lovely Hamster (I will be here for at least 2 years so...).

Now, I am a little unsure of the breed and I think it might be too young to tell gender (the pet store person had no idea).

Anyway, I've been calling it a "she" and I named her Boo. Now on to the topic! So in Korea there's actually a TON of pudding hamsters. It's very common. Now my Boo was mixed in with the puddings and with a couple of other similar hamsters. The pet store worker just called them Pearls and really knew nothing else.

So I don't know if she is a Pearl Winter White OR possibly a Pearl Pudding. I know Pearl Puddings exist, but they are way more common in Asia rather than America. She is completely pure white and I think Pearl WWs have a dorsal stripe?

Any help would be appreciated (:

I think you have a platinum-Russian Campbell. :) WW definitely do have the distinctive dorsal strip, however so do some Campbells. HOWEVER, all WW's have the strip, so this is clearly a RC dwarf.

Ah thanks! It's odd how they mix them with the puddings though.

Now I wanna go to Korea so bad lol and get a cutie little hamster like that! Dwarfs like that are IMPOSSIBLE to find in south FL, USA. -__-
I wonder if airlines would let you travel with a live hamster like in a carrier cage as your carry on for the plane. Does anyone know?

Yup, I also think that you have there a Platinum Campbell. I am looking for one here in our province but it's kinda rare here. We may be able to help you identify the gender of your hamster. Take a picture of his/her genitals and post it here.

an all white (no stripe) winter white. Looks just like it!

Well my hamster recently adopted a slightly faint black stripe, so I'm thinking she's a mixed WW.

Also Delta Airlines lets you bring hamsters along for the ride actually ;D

Oh my she does look just like those pink-eared Pearls. I think she may be a mix since her stripe appeared randomly!
