This may be slightly off topic to PETA directly, but I was thinking about it the other day when I was switching my dog's food to a more "enriched" diet. AKA, Acana red meat. and also after the little speal with the little troll on the other thread awhile ago...
So, because people who eat meat and consume animal products are "wrong" and that "meat" is only meat when you "bite into the flesh of an animal as it's dying", and that's the "only" way to make it right... what do we think of dogs? cats? Ferrets? Fish? Reptiles? ALL of our pets who eat their food much as others do? Hm. Seems like a hole in the theory.
They didn't kill for theur food, it was handed to them. But that's okay? Huh! And I thought that we were ALL equal! So now what, animals are superior? Even though. We're ALL animals, and are all SUPPOSED to be equal?!?
Though that may be partly true, remember we don't let them be wild and hunt for survival but more like forced to live to live with us so we give them food. Sorry that seemed a bit harsh, but it's our fault these animals are hand fed so they're not really apart of the food chain. Careful, PETA can bring this fact against us. But I'm not defending PETA either.
