this is so true. and most of the time they are together like that they are siblings. my local pet store won't house any hamsters together and each hamster gets its own tank.
You should tell your dad that it's only temporary and it's not recomended by any means. Go to a petsmart and ask an employee of you can house Syrians together. There is a sign describing Syrians that clearly states they're solitary animals.
i can't tell anything by those pictures. they are so small (the pictures). i've never seen a petstore in my area where they sell hamsters that aren't mature. i did however see a petstore where they had a bunny who had constant diarehea and discharge from his eyes and i called the police in hopes they could direct me to the right place and even after all the calls i made they said "well its only one bunny..."
Misleading!this is exactly what I wanted to say :\ Plus the babies in those pictures are unbelievably tiny... they don't even look 2 weeks old...
