For some reason today on HH I can't use the page back button on my browser, or backspace on the keyboard to get to the prior HH page I was viewing.

This hasn't happened before, and it seems to only happen here as I have checked other forums I frequent as well as hotmail, live journal, and yahoo mail to name a few.

It happened at home on my Firefox (still using the 2.something version) and now at work on IE version 6.0.29something.

I can go back by clicking on the back button and going down one or two options which appear to be caused by ads- they are listed http://pagead2.googlesyndication/cp- and as long as I go to the last REAL page I viewed I can go back. I guess it's an advertising issue.

No big deal! Just wanted you guys to know.

Well, this is going to be pretty useless. But I just open new tabs on new topics; I'm such a lazy person XD (I have IE 7 btw)

Arrrgh, its really starting to bug me!

I like to read all topics but since I can't go back I lose my place, any chance of a fix before I go insane??

Edited To Add: I also use IE7, could it be to do with Flash player 9? Been causing LOADS of hassle on these type of forums lately...

If I click the back button once then it doesn't work for me either but if I double click the back button then I am fine. It is only on this website for me. Hmmm....

Bummer... It's the work computer and it's IE browser that keeps doing it here.
Firefox was working A-OK back on the homefront.

Must be something with dratted IE!

I'm willing to bet its something to do with the ad's. It is an issue that has been ongoing with these boards for a while, time to dig out Opera browser me thinks, I like that better than FireFox

I've also been having this problem and I thought I would check this thread, to see if anyone has reported it. I'm glad it's not my pc and I also think it has something to do with the ads. Sometimes it happens on Neopets, too. What I do is simply click on the arrow next to the "back" buttom and click on the previous page.
