:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( It makes me sad to hear that hamsters die... I couldn't bear Maina leaving...

But someday hamsters and their owners will meet again. My signature explains it... kinda.... *walks away*

I read that from somewhere....Actually, a dog owner made that up, so it goes for any animal I should think...The very 1st time I read that, I cried.

If you don't mind, I'd like to post a link to a little "movie" of that poem. This thing makes me cry whenever I watch it... :disappointed:

Rainbow Bridge

And  to everyone who lost a hammy, or any other pet.

Im crying now :crybuckets: . That poem and movie were so touching. I have never lost any hammies but i have lost 8 fish that i love dearly :heartbeat: . I love you Hurricane, Torpedo,Skippy,Fishy,Fisher,Sunny,Puffy and Cuffy :valentine: . Some people say that fish are nothing, but I dont think that even though i had to kill one and dropped one down the sink :x . that was a accident and it hurt me to see Hurricane suffering :crybuckets: .

I just have one question. When you see a rainbow is that where yor pets are, getting a better view of you and watching over you?

The Rainbow connects Heaven and earth. When a pet (or human, for that matter ;) ) dies, they cross over the Rainbow, bringing them into Heaven. Hence the name, Rainbow Bridge. The Bridge connecting Heaven and earth... :ashamed: You just can't help but miss your pets when you see this poem.

I also think the rescued or abused animals are one of the more special animals up there. :)
