I just want to know what places, cuz New Zealand doesnt allow hamsters... :(

tink its due to their agriculture, cannot afford 2 have them destroyed by rodents :veryhappy:

Ahh that's too bad. I guess I've never thought of a hamster being something that could be banned. I thought that was mostly animals like ferrets and prairie dogs. If you have other pets, that makes it better if you can't get a certain one. :)

Really? Thats soo evil of them! The funny thing is that in austrailer my family over there did have hamster! :hmmm:

hamsters breed quickly and easily so they might upset the ecological balance in the wildlife environments that New Zealand & Australia have, especially since they have some unique animals of their own and hamsters are not found naturally there (i think).

Yes, Australia already has a problem with rabbits destroying crops. I don't think they would risk letting any other animal also disturb their agriculture.
