Anyway whats the difference between Bath Sand and Toilet Sand?

Toilet sand are coarser than bath sand... but of cos, there's different grain size for bath sand... Toilet sand are better in absorbing pee and smells than bath sand... but then again, depending on the brands... i believe most bath sands are specially heated... and another diff i find is, the bath sand is cooler than toilet sand... Try putting a finger into the pack of bath sand.. u will know what i mean... But if u place the bath sand in the cage for good (to leave in the cage overnights), your hams will not know the diff between the toilet sand and bath sand, so sometimes they will pee in the bath sand instead... kekeke... Its best u remove the bath sand once your hams are done rolling on it...

Me Staying in Hougang.. I din know abt that... and have been using bath sand for toilet sand.. :laughing:hahaha
So whats a gd brand of toilet sand??? and perhaps the best place to get one?

If your hams pee or poo in the bath sand, use a sieve to sift the waste... usually when they pee in the bath sand, it will be lumped into tiny ball-like... But once the bath sand smells, replace new ones...

I'm using the GEX Deodorant Litter Sand AB-111 ... so far so good... very happy with this product... the cheapest i know is an online shop... http://www.petscreations.com/catalog/produ...&products_id=84 Members need to pay SGD5.40... Or source ard Serangoon Nth's pet shops... U're staying in Hougang so should be quite near your place lor... I know one of the shops in Serangoon Nth is selling it at SGD6/plus...

Where do u buy your hams stuff from? SGD7.40 for the bath sand is very expensive... One of the pet shops at Serangoon Nth is selling it at SGD6.00... Of cos the aquarium i mentioned earlier is so far the cheapest... But i dun see them selling the toilet sand...

As for petscreations.com, if u are not in a hurry to buy the toilet sand, maybe u can ask ard any members in HH placing any orders from petscreations... and if the collection place between u two is right, then its a win-win situation... but if its troublesome, u can just go down to Serangoon Nth...

lixzzz!!! yes i was at serangoon north yesterday and saw this too! was in a hurry to leave and really regretted not buying coz soooo cute!!! also tempted to buy the pink cage with that cute pink house ($25) you got, but its too small for my fat hamsters and the bigger version ($35) with the split screen machiam too high! : yes, let me know if you managed to find it cheaper elsewhere! not worth to go down serangoon just to get his house
