you should complain to the head office and they will priobably investigate it.
Doubt it.
Aaand, we need to write to them again because we didnt get letters from the suppliers like they said we would, liars. I might send an email this time, don't really wanna waste money on a stamp.

All the cages look spacious enough for the pets they have and the pets seem to be in good shape. None looked ill.

At my petsupermarket tho there was this employee that played and stared at the hamsters for like 20 mins straight so i guess he liked them.

I got Coke from P@H, but I can't go anywhere else, because there are no pet shops near me that look clean or healthy.
When I got Coke, there was one hamster, a chinese dwarf, that had no fur on it's neck and there was a big cut there, but the hamster was happily walking around, not lying on the shaving squeaking or anything.
But, as I said, I'm stuck with the P@H near me, but overall it isn't that bad (not including the chinese dwarf).
well , to be honest i got my hamster from there it died a month later
but now i have got nibbles xx

It is the only decent place I know of in my area though, because I looked in the local market for cages, and they were all awful. Hardly any were suitable for hamsters. But yeah, I guess I'm lucky, because I've heard so many bad stories about petshops :( I was actually quite surprised to see a thread about how awful Pets at home are, but then again, I've only been to one. Ok rant over lol

The only "bad" things I have seen in that store have occured because of management descisions and the rules the staff have to abide by from the head offices. Their adoption policy is a bit screwed for instance (It doesn't apply to the expensive animals like the house rabbits by the looks of it - I have a feeling they just re-sell them at full price of £130 instead of the "donation" they ask for all other returned or handed-in animals.)
The OTHER store, I don't think I will go in again. HUGE sales floor for dog leads etc, but the poor animals are hot and tired and don't have nearly as much space as they should have. The staff are there for the hard sell and don't seem to take the time to advise customers, and they seem to sell anything to anyone without much thought.
I have had good and bad experiences in a lot of other P@H stores too. I think it depends on if the staff genuinely know about the animals and care enough to see them go to good homes...
