There's no need to worry, it's all been stopped. So no more hamsters won't be harmed :) Loads of people from another forum sent masses of emails complaining and it's all been stopped now.

whoohoo! hammies r safe once agen! :shy: that's a relief! it's a good thing that people conplained at the right time. even mor inocent lives could of been taken.
now they wont have nightmares of being gassed to death. hamster fur coats are just stupid anyway. I meen, hammies r so littl that it takes so many of them to make 1 coat! so then hammies would go extinct!
but now they're safe. We should celebrate! Let's party!!!!!! :veryhappy: :valentine: :hamster2: :hamster2: :hamster1: :hamster1: :birthday: :icecream:

I think its not just about hamsters. Whether it's chinchilla, mink, ermine, etc, it's cruel. Fur is evil. It all sounds very PETA I know, but the only people who wear dead animal skins are from the stone age. That's why I don't support fur. Or even leather for all I'm concerned.

well said princessamenra!
Why can't you just wear synthetic fur? all of those different colors you can choose from, and you aren't hurting animals :)
it takes about 150 chinchillas to make a coat.it takes 400 hams to make a coat.why waste all of those lives just for fashion?
I'm glad those sick, sick people stopped making coats.its really a shame that chinchilla ranchers still make money off the fur they raise.there's a really sad & depressing chinchilla video on PETA's website right now

its really sad tat people want to kill 400 lives for maybe a coat tat he/she would wear for less than 5 yrs. very sinful.. im happy tat its over.

but i hav read a pets magazine which i bought in a pets fair at expo, inside it show how mice n hamsters been treated inside a lab. its REALLY REALLY bad(e.g using sissisors to cut the head). and they even post out the photos on it. Guess people here seen it will definitely vomit.. i couldn't bring myself to eat meat for a week after seeing the photos. not only mice n hamsters, i have 4-5 tis magazines, each 1 will report 1 horrible thing that happen on certain animals around the world.

its really sad n sickening to c tis kind of articles, but sometimes hav to admit, not everyone is as fortunate. just like humans, some r born with good family some born in war time n hav to suffer. i think its the same for animals............

hopefully, with more n more kind people around, the world will get a better place to live in, in future....... both for animals n us
