This is the first year I've had to spoil hamsters ever so of course they did! And working in a pet store, I get really awesome discounts.
They got some crunchy little treats, chew toys, a new straw hut, some thick poster-tubes, and a big bag of carefresh.

I want to give them a Christmas present when Christmas comes by, but my and my sister plan on getting 4 new dwarf hamsters for christmas, too bad dwarfs and syrians aren't good with each other, mind syrians with other of their kind.

Don't let any hamsters meet unless they usally live together. They don't need play dates, Syrians are very happy by theirself. Sometimes dwarf hamsters have to live alone as they don't always get along. Never let them meet.

Sorry if it seems like we're attacking you, we're really not. It just seems like a "bad time" since quite a few members recently do many wrong things to their hamsters and refuse advise from us. We're not at all trying to be mean, sometimes words get the wrong message across the internet, and this happens a lot of the times.

The reason I posted was not just to you, but other people reading. A lot of people would read what you said and think, "OK, so they ain't good, but mine get along just fine when they meet, so its ok." And they would continue letting the hamsters play together and eventually, one of them would most likely get killed, or seriously injured.

Things like this really don't need saying. If I hadn't of said it, I am sure someone else would have done. Everyone here loves all their animals, and other peoples animals and only want the best for them. Just like we love your Ginger and Charlie. We wouldn't want to see them get hurt, and this is why we say things like this. Stick around, and soon, you will be telling people the same thing when something inappropriate is said! Posted Image
