That's so sad. My friend (CHub on here) was telling me about this before. I grew up watching his shows, it's hard to believe that he's dead.
I feel so sorry for his wife and kids.
RIP.

I find it extremely depressing. I love Steve Irwin. I looked up to him soo much. He was such a good person, good husband, good father..just plain good. He had a lot of compassion for animals and people as well. I cried when I found out what happened..honestly I thought it was a joke. I don't know about the rest of you but my day was ruined and I'm still pretty sad. I've never cried at the death of a celebrity or any famous person but I'm not gonna lie, I cried..and I still want to. :'( :'( :'( :'(

I heard about it this morning. It felt unreal, even though we all know that if anything killed Steve, it would have happened by the means of something like this. It still felt unreal.

Steve Irwin was good guy. He was a good father and husband. His family has got to be devastated. It must feel so surreal to them. They looked such a happy family, too. :(

His stunts were both brave and reckless in my mind. It shouldn't be surprising that he died, but it still is.

Foolish as it was to wrestle with such dangerous animals, he always talked about them and how dangerous they were. He'd entertain and educate the public, while having a lot of fun himself.

It's so sad. At least he died instantly and doing what he loved.

The world's gonna miss ya, Steve! You're a legend. :candle:

Aw, man! This is sooo sad! And at first I thought this was just a joke at school but later on I realized that it was real! I really felt like crying at the time but I was in school so I didn't...

When my English teacher from last year told me that he at least died doing something he loved, this made me feel better and I gave her a big hug.

So I give Steve a lot of love and a warm "Crikey!" too... We will miss him... :valentine:

My friend told me this morning at school, it made me sad, because I watched him every once in a while with my dad, and I think the things he did was amazing. He was cool and he is being remembered by lots of people around the world, atleast he can still see the beautiful animals from around the world while he is in heaven.

Rest in peace Steve Irwin, you will always be remembered

I found out yesterday on Wikipedia, and my first thought was 'no way, this must be page vandilism'. But man, I was wrong.

It's still a really foreign thought, even if I only watched a few of his shows. You wouldn't think he'd die like that. Even with a croc, you wouldn't think it would happen. He was so pro.
But, still guys, we've got to step up and realize that death is apart of living, and from what I can gather, Steve did a lot of that.
