But Dropkick shows are always full of skinheads picking way too many fights in the pit.
And I don't usually go moshing when there's too many of them...because drunk skinheads and my small size are not a good combination. Yea, punk shows usually have a bunch of skins. But, Irish dudes/music attracts them. I swear. And shows aren't fun without some good moshing.
I can't stand TBS. Freaking whiny music.

So me and some friends hopped up there tonight, because we couldn't get tickets online so we figured we'd go find some...and we had nothing to lose since the shows are all sold out. (Except for Will Call, which we couldn't get because ticketmaster hates us)
I find it necessary to note that we not only met Lars <super> Fredrickson. Yes, Lars Fredrickson who I <3 to pieces, but he also put us on the guest list and got us in. For free. He was just hanging in the lobby when we went to see if there were extra tickets at the box office. So we just went to say hi and my friend wanted him to sign something, so we had a brief conversation with him. It sometimes pays to act like a normal person instead of a fan girl. I don't really get starstruck when I meet people.
Then, we were front row. Being jammed into the barricade is always tons of fun. And I was a foot away from Matt Freeman who was right in front of us, and he is more or less, my idol. I came close to touching Tim, lmao, but he pulled his hand away at the last second.
Rancid is one of my all time favorite bands, and it was so perfect.
Oh yeah, and the show was absolutely amazing, in case you were wondering.
We watched a drunk guy crowdsurf and then fall flat on his face.
I love people like that, lmao.
The only bad part of the show was the fact that some random band called the Heart Attacks or something, and Theo and the Skyscrapers played first. They both sucked a lot(and the one girl thought she was Blondie, I swear to God, lol). But it was well worth it.
Yeah, it sounds like a really cheesy movie, and I can't believe it all happened.
I'm so exhausted and bruised(And I have a monster sized blister on the bottom of my foot), but I'm so incredibly happy I can't even begin to tell you.
And we found out Jamba Juice is finally coming to the east.
Or at least to NYC. (There aren't any in NJ that I know of. But they like...line the streets of CA, lol)
