Hi,

I was watching a show today on Animal Planet. they showed this story about a young boy who lives in England. He was going to take a train home from his aunts to visit his parents. He took that train every weekend and his parents gave him $110 to pay for his pass. But while he was staying with his aunt, he bought a syrian hamster. So when the weekend rolled around, he brought the hamster with the cage with him onto the train. But the person who was collecting tickets wouldnt let him on iless he pay the $110 chile rate for the hamster to ride the train. I thought that that was outragious. He did pay it because he was in a rush but his parents called the train company thereafter. The manager of the company apoligized and gave himself a new passport with a picture of him on it to ride for free and guess what? He also gave him a passport for his Hamster!! :cheeky: Which included his name picture of the ham etc..
I thought that this was outragous!

Another story they showed abt a cat was this. There was a baby kitten abt 12 months old home alone. Somehow the owner left the collar on way to tight and the cat was choking to death. The cat was rolling around scratching at the collar trying to get it off when it knocked over the telephone. Then the cat pressed the speed dial button for 911. When the dispatcher picked up the cat kept meowing. I dont think no 911 dispatcher ever heard that before! She said it sounded like a cat called 911 and was tangled in the phone cord! So the paramedics arrived just in time to cut the leash of the poor kitten or it would of strangled to death. The kitten saved its own life! Poor thing, i couldnt believe that this was true, but it was!

amazing! I read another version on online newspaper about a bus driver who demanded that a boy pay child fare for his hamster (which is totally dumb, dont u think) and subsequently the hamster got a new spiffy bus pass after a complaint was lodged :applause:

Oh wow! That is quite a lot of money to pay! The hamster should have been allowed on for free! The poor kitty, good thing it hit the speed dial!
