Hi fellas,

Hope u are doing fine.  Quite a long time since i last posted in this section. :fluffy:

I live in Singapore, & it is not quite common to find unflavoured pedialyte.  So far, I'm only able to find flavoured ones in Guardian Pharmacy. :nurse:

Hope to get some pointers on whether it's ok to feed flavoured ones.  And if not,  wld appreciate Singaporeans who can tell me where to get unflavoured pedialyte.

Thank U,
Loth

the main problem with flavored pedialyte is that it contains extra sugar. so it depends on why you're using the pedialyte. but in diahrrea, the extra sugar might contribute to more "bad bacteria" in the digestive tract. and obviously if you're using it with a diabetic dwarf to hydrate, the extra sugar isn't going to be a good thing either.

that's why plain pedialyte is what's recommended. maybe PM dusty for info on plain pedialyte in s'pore?

That is my thot as well, that's why I've not bought it.  You're right, I'm intending to use it for both diabetes and diarrhoea.

Many thks for responding! :hamster1:
