Ok, so I'm not going to lie, I was pretty sad to hear the news of this site closing as I really love this community and all the people in it (yes, even the ones that don't like me lol)

 

So I got to work to create a similar forum that I hope others will find a new home at:

To be clear, I am not a web developer (just married to one) and I am just taking a HUGE crash course in this but I have a skeleton up and running and I hope that everyone will go easy on me as I figure out things like permissions and roles, etc. I am open to suggestions and eventually some mods and things to help run this thing. I want this to be as good of a community as we have on here, though nothing could replace this.

 

Also, I hold no grudges, no animosity toward anyone, all are welcome and I hope for input from everyone, though please bear in mind, it's just me until I figure this out!!!

 

There is a feedback section that I hope people can post on and fingers crossed people should be able to PM, even the so requested "group PM". I have no idea if any of these features work, so try things out and let me know. If you can't get a message or something isn't working on there, you can message me on here until it closes. Hopefully, in a week's time, I'll have at least most of the kinks out.

Also, I plan on rewriting many important articles from HH, hopefully with some needed updates. Let me know if you are interested in doing some.

I was just wondering something. I've made an account and everything, but when i search it on Google(hamster clubhouse forum) it doesn't come up! Right now I can use the link you've posted here, but I was just wondering I it was normal or not? Maybe it's completely normal:)

It's a brand new website, so it's unlikely to pop up in google right now. There are ways to get it to the top of the search engine but I haven't even begin on those steps yet. My suggestion is to bookmark it for now!

Perhaps the name should be "Hamster Clubhouse Forum" or something like that? So that it's more likely to come up when people google "hamster forum".
