I haven't been on here for a while, so... Hi! 

 

I haven't gotten my hamster, Luna, new toys for a while. I've seen a lot of people make DIY's for their hammy's. Does anybody have any toys/hideouts/enrichment ideas? I'm trying to do a natural theme so something maybe out of wood? Just that kind of idea.

Hi, welcome back

I have acouple things I do:

-Diy hide (use non-toxic wood glue)
- Diy chews (I use a lathe and make it in the shape my hammy likes, if you don't have one a small cube would work)
- Sticks (take some safe wood twigs [can use twigs from backyard if tree is: safe, and not been treated with pesticides] , boil them for acouple minutes then let air dry)
Toilet paper tube enrichment toy: Take diy glue* and some food, place some diy glue inside the tube mand quickly put food to cover it, do this acouple more times through out the tube if you'd like, finnaly let dry and give to your hammy, if you'd like more challenge, after food and glue have dried stuff with bedding. * 50% flour + 50% water (may need to add more flour, I'd recommend adding more flour until it is thick enough to hold things
