My cat, Bella, LOVES to go outside. Like if any one in my house gets within 10 feet of the door she runs downstairs and tries to get out. But she recently figured out that if she’s fast enough, she can slip out. It happens when I come in too. She sits by the door for hours, waiting for someone to come in. The rest of my family doesn’t care, but she means so much to me. And my mom is the only one that can get her in. But sometimes she lets her out on purpose I’ve tried to tell her that it’s just encouraging bad behavior but she doesn’t think it is and she goes on with it. I don’t trust Bella by the door and I don’t trust my mom with Bella. I need a way for her not to always run outside. Any ideas?

Maybe put some kind of gate up around your door that way she can't get out.

Oh my goodness I thought you ment doordash the food delivery service, I was like "WHY ARE YOU EATING CATS?!"

Um I agree with Yuki, A gate would help tho cats can find ways over those pretty easily, I would do some research on the dangers of the outdoors for cats and present those to your family (if you can idk your family dynamic) and try to teach them why it is dangerous.
