Hey! <3

While shopping on Petsmart Canada I came across a few things that I will buy and test!

1. Oven Baked Cookies Banana Nut Flavour Bird Treat

These treats have natural ingredients that (I think??) are safe for hamsters.

2. Full Cheeks Small Pet Starter Exercise Wheel

Finally they have a 12 inch wheel! If you cant afford a silent wheel than this is a good substitute!

3. Thrive Reptile Pillow Moss

Pillow moss is a nice way to add colour and pillow moss is completely safe for hamsters!

4. Brown's Tropical Carnival Natural Behaviors Grain-Free Rabbit Food

I believe that this is a good foraging option instead of paying hundred of dollars? There's Hibiscus Flowers, Marigold Flowers, Rose            Petals, Nettle Leaves, Birch Leaves, Raspberry Leaves, Blue Cornflowers and Chamomile Flowers which are all safe for hamsters, so I      do believe this can be a good foraging option!

5. All Living Things Oat Sprays Bird Treat

More foraging options?! Plus, there is nothing else added besides the oat spray itself!

That is all for now but I'm really starting to like their re-brand! They have cages with room for bedding, better treats, better hides and bigger wheels! I think that they made a great change and I'm hoping that in the near future, there will be actual appropriate cages and products!

Good luck on your hamster journey!  :bear:

The treats have honey so they should be fed with care and don’t overfeed them. Every thing else seems to be safe :) I hope they continue to improve and better care for all

Just a heads up, I'm not sure if you already bought it or not, but the Brown's Rabbit Food is nowhere near worth it at all for hamsters :)

I currently feed it as a forage mix for my rabbit, and I even think it's a waste of money for the species it is made for.

Yes, it may have all those flowers, leaves, roots, etc but majority of the mix is 1st cutting Timothy hay which is unsafe for hamsters due to the pokiness. In addition, there are very little flowers/herbs and other than hay, the other part of it is 100% hay cubes and 100% hay pellets, which most hamsters will ignore and not take a liking to, hence a waste of money :D

TLDR: there's barely any flowers or herbs in it, it's like 80% timothy hay/hay cubes/pellets which is a waste of money for hamsters IMO

You'd be better off getting something like this https://www.amazon.ca/Rosewood-Pet-Pouch-Natures-Animals/dp/B0026ROIH6/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=Rosewood+Pet&qid=1650381037&sr=8-3off of amazon because it has much more variety and less fillers :)
