Mice fighting!

When they fight they chase each other and squeak. Is this normal behavior?
Also, I’m aware that having only two mice isn’t ideal, but I’m waiting for more mice to be available in my area.

Hi, this doesn't sound like fighting.
A general rule of thumb in the mouse keeping community is. 'no blood, no problem'
Mice often play with any other cage mates, including occasional squeaking because some mice are rather dramatic while playing. If they have no wounds, there's no blood anywhere, you don't have much concern, just occasionally monitor and make sure they both are eating and one isn't bullying for food.
Hope this helps.

I agree with ^^. My mice 'fight' pretty often. I would recommend having a large cage and plenty of toys (like, filled to the top haha) so the mice can have their own space and have plenty of places to escape if a problem arises. And keep two food bowls, two water bottles, two wheels etc in there so one cannot guard one. It may also be because of dominance, and trying to find out who is the alpha of the two, depending on how long the mice have been together. I think it is completely normal and as long as no blood is drawn, it should be ok.
