Why did you want to be interviewed?
''I wanted to be interviewed as a new hamster owner to give a fresh view on the excitement of a new hamster.''
That's nice! Can you give us a bit of backstory on your hamster?
''My hamster is a black dwarf young adult who I named Bear, I do not know his history.''
And what do you like most about having a hamster?
'' Watching him eat! It's just so precious, he closes his eyes and really gets into it. 
''
What would you say to new and inexperienced hamster owners?
''Don't worry so much. I was worried about everything like his water bowl. his food or evem his sand.
Did you have any regrets in your hamster journey?
'' Just that I ordered a hide from Amazon that came broken, but that's not my fault.''
What do you think is the most important thing for a hamster?
''Give them good care, good food, water, enrichment and a good, spacious cage size''
If you could choose one word to describe hamsters, what would it be?
''Sassy/Spunky. Spunky bear has lots of attitude and is a bit sassy!''
How would you tell someone their care is inadequate?
'' I would bring up one thing at a time, maybe buy the hamster some new toys as a gift and gently show the owner how cute the hamster looks chewing it and explain that it's good for their teeth.''
Do you think anything should be changed in the hamster community?
''I think the 'minimum' should be bigger. I think it should be at least 500-600in but the bigger the better.''
What are your pro's and cons for hamsters?
''Pro's are- the joy they bring even to watch, the responsibility it can teach older teenagers (13+) the fact of having a pet that is entirely your own.
Con's are- they can be kinda pricey, I have had Bear a week and he has cost over %175+. Space, luckily I have enough space in my bedroom for him so that's not a worry but I know some owners don't have room I their bedroom and a bin cage, detof or DIY cage really takes up space.''
