I am between dwarf hybrids and long haired Syrians, so I haven't announced this yet because I just put in an application but I am looking to get a male long haired from poppy bee hamstery, so I am excited for that but my dwarf Bear just passed and I am still morning his loss. Bear was my first ham and was pretty sweet, he didn't like to be held but liked to be pet, I loved him because he was so spunky he would run across his enclosure the minute he saw my brothers hand and smack it has hard as he could

no,chinese aren’t dwarf,true dwarfs are on the genus phodopus and Chinese in the genus cricetulus (basically long-tailed hamsters)

I honestly love both. I've had a dwarf hamster, who passed away 2 months ago, and now I have a syrian lh female. I've noticed she is A LOT calmer, which makes handling easier. But dwarves are super fun to watch run around, and are basically fur balls with a face
If I had to chose 1, probably syrian, but my dream is to have 2 or 3. Then i would have 1 of each

I love both, to me all hamsters are awesome, but I’d have to say that dwarfs are cuter but Syrians are the better hamster
