Was the duck's body cold to the touch? If it was still warm when you picked it up, it probably wasn't hypothermia.

It was cold-ish.
Not, like, the temp of the air, but it wasn't warm.

Its hard to say, she could have been sick and not able to to keep her body temp up. Some people don't take farm animals to the vet if it's a food stock type of animal so there likely wasn't much you could do.
Though, if it were me I would take her inside and try to warm her up, either way if she was sick or hypothermia. They usually tolerate cold fine unless they are ill. I wouldn't typically be worried unless it dropped to the 20s and they don't have a warm nest to snuggle up in.
