Hey all, I just posted my first hamster video =O

Unfortunately, Youtube has flagged me as being a child (grrrr, I think it's my voice...) so you can't comment on the video. If anyone has been able to fix this, let me know!

Looks great! I do have to say that they actually sell 2 sizes for the wheel stand, s and m. The m fits the m and L wheels and the S fits the 8.6 inch one. In the video, does Mabel have the dwarf or Syrian sized MCH? Because boba’s looks so much bigger and your cage looks so roomy!

Yes, I put that description in the video, because when I bought the wheel stand back in October (and when I recorded the video), they only had one size of wheel stand. Since then they have posted a "Small" size, they didn't have immediately.

Mabel has the 9 inch wheel, I actually have 4 of the 11 inch wheels, but she still loves her 9 inch and still fits in it. When I gave her the choice of which wheel, she always ran on the 9 inch. So I let her keep it. She seems to be on the small size for Syrian females /shrug

The Multichamber hide she has is this one: It's a Large 2 chambered.

Do you know if this is suitable for other wheels? I have a Silent Runner (9 inch?).

I'm not sure how well it would work, these stands are fitted specifically for Niteangel's wheel bases. I suppose that it could provide some stability, but I believe the silent runners have rectangular bases so I'm not sure if it would fit at all.

Great work Kikya! Very enjoyable watch. :)

I also have a 9 inch Silent Runner that I no longer use and it doesn't really fit the base. The Silent runner has a rectangular base and it doesn't really sit in the groove of the Niteangel wheel stand, which is curved. I tried a few different things before to raise the Silent Runner. The only thing that I ever got to work, kind of, is I put it on top of my NiteAngel Chamber and I secured it with those little Velcro stickers on the four corners.

It was not my favorite method and unfortunately Mabel's hide still bears the marks of those stickers lol I was able to get it off the bottom of the wheel but not the wooden hide.

I would put it on a flat wooden surface and kind of bury the base under bedding (compress it good so it stays down). I think it's best secured on a bar cage as the stand isn't very good comparatively to the Niteangel.

Great vid! Just subbed :)

Since comments are currently off, I'll leave a video suggestion here and that is cage tours! They're literally my FAVOURITE videos that youtubers post!

To turn comments on: just go to youtube studio, click on the video in question, go to details. And then go to comments and change it so they're allowed. Comments is literally at the bottom of all the setting in the details for a video which makes it so annoying :/

Thank you much! I cringe a bit to hear my voice on video and the quality is terrible but oh well lol

Thank you very much!

She loves that pink tube too lol

Yes, I found her on Craigslist, a family had gotten her for the kids but they weren't "taking care of her" so the family decided to give her away. She was VERY skittish when I brought her home. It took a while for her to be comfortable but I think she was so happy to have a bigger space and her first sand bath. She spent like 2 hours in her sand bath that first day.
