Hello! So my grandma has a cat, and she has been using food that i don’t think are good. She uses the purina friskies pellets, and the cat gets alot, and then she gives him coop wet food (coop is norways first price). Ive read up on them and none of them have come up with positive feedback.

He is a norwegian forestcat (norsk skogkatt) and he is spayed. I weighed him today and he was 5,8kg! It’s really hard to find out what food to get and how much he should weigh because everyone says different things! I have just ordered a bag of royal canins norwegian forestcat mix, and latz wet food. My grandma refused to get him something better. I heard royal canin is good but i just searched up the miz and they say it’s not good or healthy?

I’m really trying to get him healthy and happy so he can live for as long as possible, he is currently 4 yrs and his birthday is in march. A raw diet is not possible for us, my grandma couldn’t get that ready and there’s no way she would spend alot on the cat. What could i do?

Hi! I think asking this on a cat forum would be better (here is a link to one: TheCatSite)
