Title error! It is dog bleeding from anus not for anus!
My cousins miniature Merle poodle was bleeding from the anus today. I assume it has something to do with the anal glands but not sure exactly what. Do you think it could possibly be a anal gland infection? He did not display any symptoms or behaviours of pain and acted completely normal. It was not a lot of blood and it has completely stopped bleeding now.

if it's a she, she could have been in heat. Is It fixed?

Its a he, he is not fixed because he is a stud and a few times a year he has to go back to the breeder to breed.

Blood from the anus should be an immediate trip to the vet, not waiting for answers on an internet forum. I hope the dog has been seen by now.

I am not completely sure, I think they may have took him yesterday because he was vomiting.
