Hi! So i need your help with my bunny Pongo.  Everyday, sometimes twice a day Pongo destroys his litter box. Like he kicks everything out of it onto my bathroom floor.  I don't know why he is being so messy. I really dont want to clean the litter box and mop the floor 1-2 times a day.  Please help!

   Thanks!

How large is his living space and does he has enough things to play with? Some bunnies love to dig. One of my Rabbits had been given a digging box that was contained to one area so he could have fun digging around but wasn't destroying the rest of my house.

He free roams in my room (which isn't huge but it is a good sized room) and he has lots on toys but a dig box is actually a great idea! He might really like one! What do you put in yours? How do you make a dig box?

I know I’m not Sparrow, but I have a dig box for my bun. It’s just a cardboard box with shredded paper inside that I hide treats and toys in for him to dig up. It was very simple and easy to make.

For my dig box, i use a plastic storage container that i place inside a commercial rabbit cage tray - so any bedding that is spilled out is contained within one area. Otherwise there would be plenty to clean on daily basis and as I'm sure you know, there is already plenty of work to do around a bun without the added chores of sweeping up contents of a digging box ...

I fill the container with hemp bedding or else paper bedding and make sure there are snacks to discover inside. It's brilliant stimulation for the rabbit!

Hi! I'd just like to add, from my own research (I may be getting a pair soon) mess around litter boxes is to be expected, but a dig box will probably help at least a bit!
