My guinea pig, Hazelnut, I noticed today that he had this sort of cut on his lip:

I'm thinking either he bit his lip accidentally or that his friend, Chestnut (the other guinea pig in the cage), bit him on the lip.

I inspected it and ruled out it just being a stain from veggies, since I didn't see it yesterday when I fed veggies and yesterday I didn't feed anything juicy that it would leave a stain, I only fed roimane, cilantro, and bell pepper yesterday.

The boys haven't really been fighting recently, only a few squeaks, and I've never seen them try to bite eachother, but I may be wrong.

What do you think? Do you think that Chestnut bit him or he just possibly bit himself?

Thank you!!  :valentine:  :veryhappy:

Spoiler

Honestly, I can’t see much at all from the picture. From what I can see, it doesn’t look like you’d expect a bite to look. Are those dark spots scabs?
