My dog has relentlessly been trying to catch this bunny under our shed. This has obviously been traumatic for the bunny itself and I am unsure if the poor bunny has a mother caring for it or not. It is a wild rabbit and still very small. My dog is tearing up all the plants around our shed so I need to do something. We were thinking about getting a cage and putting some veggies like kale, carrots, and apples in there and then taking the bunny somewhere more safe. Do you guys think that's a good idea? Any other ideas or opinions? Where should I take the bunny (exp. another neighborhood, somewhere nearby in our neighborhood, a rural area, ect.)?

Instead of moving the rabbit, I think that probably keeping your dog away would be the best option. I think that moving the rabbit would take a lot of unessary effort that would still get the rabbit scared and annoyed.

I would either call your local wildlife rehabilitator or animal control. It's risky dealing with wildlife and there's people such as animal control and wildlife rehabbers that specifically do this because they understand how to deal with a wild animal. They'll know what to do.
