I'm not sure if I'm supposed to post this here, but I love to watch shows such as 'My cat from <basement>' or 'It's me or the dog' because I really enjoy seeing animal trainers/behaviorists teach people who need help about how to properly care for their pets and I learn something new too. And I also enjoy watching a lot of other youtubers as they have some good advice.
However, I have one problem: The comment section. A lot of people there don't pay to watch the full episode and judge based on a clip, and their comment doesn't paint the full picture. I love hearing from other people, but a lot of these comments are mean and from people who didn't step into the person's shoes and just judged harshly based on a tiny clip.
I find this annoying because the rude commenters only saw a clip of the full episode and never experienced the pain or frustration that the people looking for help did. I sometimes do it too, but I keep it to myself instead of commenting. A lot of people on comment sections also comment before they read the description or the pinned comment. For instance, one youtuber I watched uploaded a video of his bird emptying his crop. To many people, it seemed like it was a tumor and the bird needed to go to the vet, but if you read the description bar and researched a bit, you'll find that the budgie was simply emptying his crop and that the budgie was fine.
I'm not sure if I'm just overreacting, but I dislike how people would comment before seeing the full picture because that often leads to misunderstanding. Is it just me or am I overreacting over nothing?
