I just got a guinea pig about 1 week ago and I went to go play with her and she looked overweight to me but I was wondering if it is something I should be worried about.
If she is overweight how do I fix that?

Hello!I just got a guinea pig about 1 week ago and I went to go play with her and she looked overweight to me but I was wondering if it is something I should be worried about.
If she is overweight how do I fix that?
Piggies are supposed to be a bit roundish. From this angle, she doesn’t look overweight to me. Is her tummy convex (sagging), concave (arching in), or flat?
Also, and this doesn’t pertain to your question, but I saw you said a guinea pig. Does she have a buddy?
Edit: I also wanted to say that she’s very pretty! I love her coloring.

You would need to weigh her to find out. The average guinea pig would weigh 1.5 – 2.6 lbs.
Also, she's so cute! I love her coat!
