Hello everyone!

Currently, I’m about to move Mushu’s old stuff into the garage. This includes his old hides, chews, and enclosure. Basically any reusable stuff. Since I won’t be owning another hamster for at least five years, I am giving away his old food, treats, or anything that will get bad.
I do plan on adopting a bunny very soon (I am planning on starting by adopting one bunny than eventually adopting a second when the first one settles in) so there’s a few things that I’m keeping, specifically for her. This includes Mushu’s old forage mix and some paper based bedding. I can keep the bedding for litter, or use it in a dig box. The forage mix was advertised for bunnies, and seems to have all safe ingredients, so I can use that in a snuffle mat or in the dig box :)

Tl;dr Basically, I just need to know if my oat and millet sprays are worth keeping for the future bunnies. I don’t know if they are safe, or even necessary, so a simple yes or no will do. If they aren’t usable, then I’ll just add it to the stuff I’m getting rid of.

Oh, and yes. I plan on joining a bunny forum sooner or later, so I’ll stop bombarding you all with my bunny questions, haha.

Congrats on the bunny! As long as are still clean and nothing growing on them/going bad, I don't see why you shouldn't keep them, unless it's going to be a long time in between pets.

No, seeds and grains should not be given to rabbits. While this seems counterintuitive seeing as they’d probably naturally consume some, they can pose as choking hazards when given in large amounts. Is there any way you could donate them?

I also wanted to point out letting two rabbits settle in together would probably be a better idea than just one. This would allow your rabbits to “talk” through the stress of moving and would likely increase their chances of bonding well!

Okay, good to know. Thanks! I don't think I can donate them, since I've already opened the bag the bag they were in. I'm just going to give it away for free :p

Heh, I guess I should do a lot more research on bonding then!

Thank you very much!
