Are they genetically mutated? If not, is it okay to get one? Also how warm should they be?
Oh also, I'm not getting a skinny guinea pig just curious

I would nto buy one from a breeder. Its the same stance as furless hamsters, and not something eole should go out and secifically suort. Also, guinea igs need grous or airs.
Sorry for the broken comuter keys

Two things:
I'll translate this, "I would not buy one from a breeder. It's the same stance as furless hamsters, and not something else and should go out and specifically sort. Also, guinea pigs needs to be in groups or pairs"
Second of all, yeeeep guinea pigs do need to be in a pair or more. So hairless guinea pigs are the same as hairless hamsters? Mmm.. that's sad though, people breed them unprofessionally and sell them-

my friend has a pair of skinny pigs. they're honestly not that much different than guinea pigs. You can bond a skinny pig and a skinny pig together easily so you can bond. Their needs are the same as regular pigges as far as I know. Many shelters near me don't have any, and I wouldn't buy them from a store.

Maybe if ones for adoption I can pair it with another one (if my home envoirment is right ofc)

So they're the breakfast dou? Anyways, I prefer animals with fur on, some people don't.

I prefer the ones with hair but I often see skinny’s sold single. It makes me wonder how a female skinny would be with regular Guineas. I felt bad seeing one sold solo because as far as I know they need companionship too.

I agree with ajuinceuhamsters. They can be in pairs too, it's just that no one pairs them. What I'm suspecting is that people think "Well I can get one guinea pig and they'll be fine! I mean they sold one so I can get one" or somewhere near that line

They sell them solo and they’re $100+ more than a regular. I just thought about getting one to give her some friends because I felt bad seeing them sold separately.
I understand they cost more.
I’m for what Switzerland does, there it’s illegal to purchase just one guinea !
