Hi everyone, a few years ago I got a meat rabbit named pearl. She has died..if you know what I mean...(meat rabbit). But we bred her, a few others. I love all my meat rabbits even though they all um die. They are New Zealand's and are so...weird looking, big, and cute lol!

Oh how interesting, they sound (ed) really cute! Are you okay with dealing with all these rabbit deaths, and was this your choice? I have nothing against it because many people eat or survive off of rabbit, but was this your choice and why?

Yeah I don't really mind the deaths because I already know its going to happen. This was not my decision but I'm ok with it, it was my grandparents who started it it in their 30's, now it's my parents and me who do it.

Cool! I always wanted to raise animals for food but my parents think it'll traumatize me if I get 'too attatched'. Just googled the breed. SO CUTE!

Hey, we are asked not to talk about stuff like this because it can make rabbit owners sad that the meat rabbits got... y’know, eaten. So, please do not discuss this any longer, just for the sake of depressing rabbit lovers (such as I). You can talk about the rabbit, but don’t go into any detail about slaughter or anything like that.

Thanks and have a great day!

It's sad. I would rather not dwell on the fact that they are (you know) and more on the fact that rabbits are ADORABLE?!?!

they are bred to be eaten. So it’s like breeding cows to make beef or pigs for bacon. It’s just part of being someone who breeds meat rabbits is that they will need to be ummm… murdered.

lol I haven’t had bacon or beef before because I’m a vegetarian but everyone around me is always telling me to try it and that it’s so good etc… but I just don’t believe that it’s right

I used to eat meat and then my cat died in November and I saw videos of what they do in those factory farms and I haven't ever since.
