I just randomly had the thought of having a pet garden snail so I had a few questions? Can I take a garden snail aka a snail from outside and keep it as a pet? Is there a floor space minimum for a snails enclosure? Who are some good people to watch on snail care? And you can tell me anything else you know about snails. Thanks!

The only snail channel I've watched that's not about Giant African Land Snails is called Lily+snails or something like that. You can definetly take one from outside, but it might have diseases or parasites ect. There isn't any sort of minimum as far as I know. They don't need a ton of space, but don't keep them in anything super tiny either. Maybe a 2.5 gal could work for 1-2 snails? NEVER use any sort of mason jar. Mason jars are designed to suck air out over time so anything living thing would suffocate in a mason jar.
