I think I made a topic about this, but I couldn’t find it for some reason.
So. I’m getting a captive bred phidippus Regius (regal jumping spider) in may.
I am going to be feeding it mealworms (baby ones, because I breed them), and Madagascar wingless fruit flies.
The best cage that I can find, that fits the breeders cage size minimum is a 12x12x18 front opening exo terra (their minimum is 1 square foot)

I am going to have eco earth as a substrate.
For decor/hides, I will use fake plants, cork bark, some home-made clay ledges, and a nice sanitized stick.
I also made a teeny tiny water dish, that is too small for a jumper to climb into.

Is the cage okay?
Is the care okay?

It looks good to me. Just make sure the mealworms are small (no larger than the spiders abdomen). Some spiders will be uninterested in prey like mealworms as they prefer more lively prey to go after. Enjoy your spider <3

Thank you!
I will make sure to feed it only my tiniest mealies.
