Does she need to be euthanized? Should I make my dad do it for me? Should I do the vodka method, or should I use the hammer method? Do I need to?
Can you try feeding her or comforting her first? See if she gets a bit better?

Can you make an account on Fishlore? I imagine there better to answer this especially as most aquatic animal keepers on here are asleep.

It isn’t working. She only flexes her leg (uncontrollably I think) when I move her. I’ve tried feeding her, but she isn’t eating. She is suffering I think.

Can you hurridly go on to fishlore, like LBD said? On i saw your post rn. Maybe even emergency vet? ( would that be necessary? )

Sorry, haven't seen this until now. The debate of whether or not you euthanize is really up to you. If you truly believe your frog is suffering and has no chance of getting better, putting her down may be your best bet. But, until you have an exact diagnosis of what's going on, I believe you still have a couple other outlooks before euthanasia. I'm not a frog expert so I can't comment on what those would be, but there's a chance it's something fixable if you just don't know what it is.
As for methods of euthanasia, again, it's up to you and what you're comfortable with. If you or your dad are comfortable with using the hammer method that works. I've used the clove oil method and the past with fish and it works quite well, too. Just don't freeze or flush your frog as both of these methods are considered to be unethical. ![]()

She passed anyway, my dad took my iPad, and she was gone 5 minutes later.
