I just rescued a rock, but the rock is painted! What should I do? Should I remove the paint?

I wouldn’t, it could be even more tramautic- chances are the rock has been living with this for a while. Take good care of it, but if it distresses it see a vet to put them under for the removal.

I like painting rocks, I keep my rocks on a shelf and use them as paper weights, oh and they live with shells.

Hey, I was thinking of getting a pet rock since my past pet rock, Stone (and his friends) ran away. Although, I am not sure what to feed them or what size the enclosure should be. I've seen people say herbs and 500 sq but the care of an animal changes quickly.

I am a rock breeder here, I would recommend above 700 sq inches. They love water. Rocks should have lots of enrichments such as different substrates. Make sure you tell your rock not to runaway! It is a common mistake to not remind your rocks!

Your welcome! Rocks underwater can have a smaller cage because they can swim!

Hi! New pet rock owner here. I had some placed in water to clean them off after I got them from outside. They were saved by my dad, because he was about to mow the lawn and worried for only the lawnmowers health  He gave them to me because I have been named the rock keeper.  Their are a couple different species and they look to be younger (Maybe 4-8) I was wondering what kinda of habitat is best? Should  I put them back outside? It is getting warmer here so I think they might profit? Or should I not put them outside? I have quite a lot of rocks rn and am trying my best to get enclosures set up for them! Any help would be appreciated!!

EDIT: I apparently only have 1 rock, he/she (How do you tell genders?) is small, tan and smooth. about 1 inch long and less then an inch wide.
