If you see cotton lie on them a lot Cotton may like them. If the rocks don't bite they may be friends, but not neccesarily bonded. Its like Rhino's and Birds. They tolerate eachother and work together, but there not best friends. It sounds like they may work together and tolerate eachother, so introducing more rocks may mess up there balance a little if its a larger rock as well. TLDR, sounds like they have a bond, but not friends, if that makes sense. Keep it up! Where did you buy or adopt them?

Oo, okay, tysm!

Hmmm, I kidnapped them from the beach!

Wherever they spend the most time may make them use the bathroom there more. Try making that place more comforting by placing there friends there and maybe introducing them to some sand. They don't eat very often-usually you won't need to feed them, too. Some larger ones may eat there smaller companions. I recomend scattering a few herbs/bits of millet/sprays on and around the rocks in case they get hungry. I wouldn't do this if there not being co-habbed with another animal like a hamster so that the food dosen't go to waste if theyre not hungry :)

How deep should I make their bedding? Or do they prefer a different substrate?

Depends. If there with a hamster they don't need a substrate and can go right on top of plastic or bedding. If there alone/with other rocks, a thing layer of moss or twigs /aspen is ideal, but they can be happy on glass/plastic. They also do REALLY well underwater.

Wild rocks aren't the best for pets and taking them can unbalance the Eco-System. Thankfully most beach's have a lot of rocks washed up, but its not best to get wild ones. Thankfully, these are doing great with caged life!

I would definitely recommend the rock forum! My twin sister kicked me out of my computer and now I can't make my own account because she says I don't know anything about rocks but you can ask her some questions about rocks! She has two sedimentary rocks she keeps in a very big fish tank. :)

omg ikrrrr?
luckily, my parents let me upgrade and now my pebble lives happily in our house, my family and i moved to the basement.

But, my pebble has been showing signs of boredom, like not moving for long periods of time, so we might have to give him the basement as well, and my family and I will move to the backyard :)

LMAO I can'ttttttt. I would take them to a vet. They may have rock bottom, and that can be cured by better enrichment and medications.

Depends on the rock. Some of them may enjoy it, but others may become depressed and even develop rock bottom if there forced to wear googly eyes. What species is your rock, and are they timid?

Its unethical because many rocks are part of the eco-system or hard to tame. However, rocks in backyards or at large beaches are the most likely to be good pets, but its recomended to get one off of Etsy as there tamed :)

Depends on the species and size.

Yes!

They eat every 10-20 years, so I would sprinkle some herbs around them every 10 years or so. If being kept with a hamster, they will eat the herbs so they wont go bad. If being kept alone they will turn purple when there hungry.

Water dishes are optional as they take water out of the atmosphere.

They do good on aspen and moss, but can thrive in water/fish tanks.

Can I keep my pebble in a critter keeper? And with eco earth, some bark, and a humid environment? How about live plants?

Etrada sandstone rock, no it is co-habbed with a few other sandstones and they all do very well together, I’ve discovered they also love the heat. Would it be okay?

I would recomend getting more than one pebble as pebble's are social and don't do good alone, but the set up sounds briliant! An airplant may be good, but make sure it dosen't attack your pebbles :)

Sounds like a great set up! Your sandstones have great temerments to live together. I would try it on the largest ones and see how they fare first.
