Hi everyone!

So as some of you may know I am most likely getting a new cage for my hamster Toby this Christmas, which would then result in my mouse Nemo moving into his old bin cage. This switch would leave my Prevue 528 cage empty, and although I am not planning to own more than two animals at once, I was wondering if there were any exotic mammals (besides hamsters and mice) that can comfortably live in that cage for future reference? (Comfortably = they enjoy it, not just a minimum.)

I understand if there aren't any, but I thought I would ask anyways. :)

As far as I know it can only be kept as a hospital cage... Sry :/

Maybe donate it to your local humane society? Or to a friend that has a critter trail or smth?

Oh okay! I'll probably keep if for a bit longer after I switch the other cages.. (incase there's a dwarf I really need to rescue/adopt) but I agree that if I don't have a use for it I'll probably just donate/give it away.

Thank you!! :)

Of course can. I had a bearded dragon who lived in such a cage. Generally, it's not hard to look after them. They just need a well-balanced diet based on calcium. If you want to ask me  why do bearded dragons need calcium. Well, taking into consideration that it's an exotic animal, of course it needs a special care. Calcium is for their growth and development, so basically for their bones. Moreover, if you have a female bearded dragon, it's a must to give them calcium. Thy have to lay her eggs. It's a bit tricky to own a bearded dragon, but it's fun.

I disagree- bearded dragons need tanks with a minimum of 75 gallons, and there NOT for beginners.
