I'm looking into getting hissing cockroaches! I have some questions, but I can't seem to find answers. I hope somebody has some answers!

1. Is ceramic safe for a hissing cockroach?

2. I keep hearing that people feed dry cat or dog food, what are some safe ones?

3. Is coco peat safe for hissing cockroaches?

Thanks!

1. I haven't been able to find anything about that, but I think it would be safe as long as it isn't able to crush them. Butttt they are cold-blooded creatures, so it might not be good if it makes it colder. I would just opt for a more natural type environment.

2. I'm not sure any specific safe ones, but you can also supplement the food with fresh fruit and veggies for them to eat as well, but only in small amounts.

3. I'm not sure on this one sorry!

Hope you get these lil sweeties, I really want some too!!

Like most pettubers. Emzotic usually has some stuff wrong. I suggest you look up a roach forum too!
