My budget is like, $60 USD and my space would be a 10-15 gallon tank.

Is the price of the tank separate or included in your price range?

Like for example if it happened to cost $20 to get a tank then is $40 your budget?

Also is this a 'start-up' cost budget or like a forever budget?

The tank would be included.

Probably a 'start-up' cost.

Pacman frogs are quite low maitenence, and do well in a ten gallon. Watching them eat is very fun, there's a reason they're called pacman frogs.

Not to my knowledge. Even if they were, they wouldn't be able to secrete the poison in captivity. Most poisonous amphibians get the poison from the bugs they eat. In captivity, they don't eat poisonous bugs, therefore, they're not poisonous.

I LOVE pacman frogs! I had one named Guy. They aren’t poisonous but will and do bite. They are so much fun to feed, fairly inexpensive and adorable! However, it is like owning a pet rock. That bites. The only interaction you have with them is feeding, other than that they basically bury themselves in a hole and stay there. Some people (like me) adore them, others find them dreadfully boring. Depends on the person.

I also had salamanders, and they were pretty great too. They would take food from my fingers, follow me along the side of their tank and it was fun to watch them burrow and wander round. I kept two redbacked sals, they are only $10-$20 a piece. A 10 gallon tank is a good size so long as you have lots of plants and decor.

Pacmans do need a heat mat and at least a 10 gallon tank.

Poison is a toxin that gets into the body via swallowing, inhaling or absorption through the skin.... Venom is a specialised type of poison that has evolved for a specific purpose. It is actively injected via a bite or sting.

Amphibians can be poisonous through skin absorption, etc. while snakes, tarantulas, etc, are “venamous”.

A salamander sounds cool! Are they poisonous? Like, their skin, belly, bites, ect?

Most salamanders are not, but fire salamanders excrete toxins from their skin which is harmful to other pets and young children who might lick them. Lol.
