hello everyone, I'm considering getting a cockatiel, would anyone here know if there's a place I could learn more info, we have a conure so we kind of know how to take care of birds. I am currently binge watching parrot care videos, and would like to know as much info as I possibly could.

thanks in advance :)

edit-

we are also hopefully going to get 2 other birds, either 2 lovebirds, or 2 budgies, would anyone know which one would be better suited around children?

Avian Avenue has a lot of great info from what I can see; definitely worth checking out imo. :)

Never keep a conure and cockateil in the same room the cockateils dust will kill the conure as conures are not dusty and the dust coats thier lungs and eventually they die. You could keep it on a separate floor with air fliters throughout the house but that would be expensive and it's not worth the birds like. If you want more birds get ones that arent dusty, like kakariki, ringnecks, macaws.
