Hello! :3

So, My hamster doesn't really like to chew on chew toys, or anything like that, he's only interested with edible chew toys but those are really expensive and I can't find them in local pet shops, has anyone got any ideas? I've tried to put some peanut butter on his chew toys, but all he did was lick it all off   :rotfl:

So i'm not really sure what I should do, I've looked up Victoria Raechel on youtube and she shows things like how to get your hamster to chew, but it doesn't seem to work, i've checked his teeth and they seem fine, but i'm just not really sure what to give him that he might like to chew on

xx

Hey!

It’s completely normal for hamsters to not chew on toys. It’s not an issue and their teeth will keep being healthy from their food. If your hammy chews on chew toys, great, if they don’t, no problem

Hi! As ollieandraidgy say, it's perfectly fine if they don't chew any, his food mix generally will be all that he needs! I also wanted to say Sunny is adorable, they remind me of Vanillahamham's hamster Butterscotch! :goodvibes:

Agreed with everyone else, it's not a big deal if your ham isn't interested in their chews. :)

Also, in the future, it may be a good idea to title your post more clearly, for example, "Hamster won't use chews".  That way, people who can help you will be able to find it easier.
