Hi all ![]()
I've had budgies (parakeets in the US??) for YEARS now, and sadly my oldest birb, Robbie, who was around 7.5 years old, passed away near the start of the quarantine. His companion (Sonny) was quite young so I hoped to get another bird to keep him company. Unfortunately, I literally could not find any budgerigars near me (and with our lockdown, was unable to travel far). Sonny was sad and stopped eating and singing, so I made the sad decision a few weeks ago to rehome him to a friend nearby who has an outdoor/indoor aviary. He seems very happy there ![]()
ANYWAY, fast forward to now, and my study was so sad and quiet without constant budgie-chatter, and with lockdown easing a little bit, pet stores and breeders and travel have all become a bit easier, and I have found TWO BIRBS again! Original plan was for me to collect Sonny from the aviary but after visiting him there I think he is really happy, so I have left him with his new friends, and now welcome........
Jester and Sky!

Sky is the Blue/yellow bird, Jester is the green/yellow.
